How to check if your OneKey has been tampered with

OneKey built this site, and its devices get exactly the same rules as every other brand. All three checks apply here too.

  1. Official check
  2. Look inside
  3. Where it came from

Step 1

Official check

  1. Download the OneKey App only from onekey.so.
  2. Connect the device. The app runs a Genuine check when you first connect it, and you can run it again from the device’s details page.
  3. Verify the firmware: the app compares the firmware on your device with OneKey’s open-source build.
  4. OneKey Pro: check the tamper-evident seal.
  5. If any check fails, stop and contact OneKey Support.

What it shows

That the device is an official OneKey device running official firmware.

What it misses

Hardware added inside the case. Neither check can see an implant that only reads the screen.

Step 2

Look inside

Compare your board with the chips listed here, then upload photos for an automated check.

Before opening: it can void the warranty, and the cases aren’t designed to be reopened. OneKey hasn’t published board photos for current models, so compare against the chip list above and look for anything that doesn’t belong. Some part numbers come from OneKey’s open-source firmware and can vary between production batches.

Board check

Online
  1. Your device

Pick a brand to see its models.

  2. Photos of the opened board

Photograph the whole board with the chip markings in focus.

    • Usually 20 to 40 seconds. Photos are never stored.

    Step 3

    Where it came from

Buy from the OneKey Shop (referral link: Yishi, who built this site, earns a commission) or an authorised reseller. In October 2026 OneKey ended CryptoBilis’s authorisation, paused new resellers and began re-certifying existing ones.

If you bought a OneKey from CryptoBilis on or after 1 March 2026, OneKey will replace it free of charge. Open a ticket at help.onekey.so titled “CryptoBilis Replacement” and attach your receipt, before 31 December 2026.

A OneKey never comes with a recovery phrase. If the box contained one, or the device was already set up, don’t use it.
